Kim and Darrell have asked if we can have a button that would transfer all of the damages listed at time of pick up over to the delivery damages. For instance, today, Darrell said he had one Ford Pickup with 13 damage codes, and it is a hassle to enter these again at time of delivery. Any time we have a damaged vehicle, that automatically puts us at a disadvantage. The second disadvantage is getting each damage coded exactly right at point of delivery. A solution would be to click and have all the pick up damages transferred. This would also save the driver (and dealer) a lot of time.

1. Do you see any potential problem with this?
2. Any reason we shouldn't transfer the photos as well?

Of course, the dealer would still be able to point out any NEW damage at that time.


Currently, the driver can click the green button to view the "Cheat Sheet" when he is at the dealer and recall what he wrote up at pick up, but this alone will not have any effect on the delivery damages.





What I am proposing is the driver would have the option of transferring everything over. If he clicks the green button below, he would then see a confirmation question asking if he is sure he wants to transfer damage codes and photos. He can back out if he wants to.
